Be watchful and vigilant!!

BE CAREFUL OF THE LITTLE THINGS TO DESTROY YOUR LIFE.* Gal.5:9.

It wasn't a mighty giant

that made King David fall,

It was just a little housewife

bathing beyond a wall... I.Sam.11:1-4. *Run away from lustful desires.*

It wasn't an army of warriors

that brought the mighty Samson down;

A few of Delilah's tricky tears

reduced the leader to nothing. Judges.16:19-21. *Run away from the spirit of deception.*

Peter boasted of devotion

beyond the shadow of a doubt,

It took a little servant girl by the fire....to take his fire out. Lk.22:55-61. *Be careful of your emotional spirit.*

Eve's one bite of the fruit,

One backward look from Mrs Lot...

Satan's baits are tremendously tiny,

But they hide a deadly hook. Gen.3:6. Gen.19:26 *Check your disobedient spirit.*

Little foxes of gossip, impatience, anger...

Destroy your vines in a day;

Few dead flies in a perfume jar,......Yet we must throw it all away. 😫Eccl.10:1. *Run away from the sin easily beset you*

The little greed of Mr & Mrs Ananias cost their death. Act.5:1-10.  *Check up your greedy spirit, let it not strip your life.*

Little love of money in the heart of Judas Iscariot stripped him of his glorious ministry. Act.1:16-20. *Check up your motive of doing God's work.*

A little pride made Lucifer  lose the heavenly glorious position forever. Isa.14:12-15.  *Pride is a cancer, run away from it.*

So pay attention to the little things,

And be vigilant in this fight;

That roaring lion, the Satan, who seeks to devour,

Comes purring as an Angel of light. I.Pet.5:8-9

*Be watchful and vigilant 👍🏻

🍒 *"Indestructible📚 Bible"* 🍒

*_“And it is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one title of law to fail.”_* – Luke 16:17

👉 *Once in Spain, a mother did her ministry in a different way. She used to buy the Holy Bibles and give them to the known people free of cost. The construction work of a building was going on near that mother’s house. Masons from various places were working there. She came to know that the head of the masons was an atheist by his conversation. She prayed for him many days, bought the Bible, wrote his name and gave it to him with love. She asked him to read it without fail. But the atheist assured that he would neither read nor let others read it. So instead of a brick, he put the Bible in the wall and plastered it.*

👉 *Years passed. That building collapsed due to the earthquake occurred in that area. A government official who came to inspect found the Bible in the debris. He took it with him and he began to read it. Word of God worked powerfully in him. Later he joined the Bible society and started his ministry with the distribution of the Bibles. One day he happened to meet the head of the masons who was in trouble and with a broken heart. He spoke to him kindly and comforted him with the word of God and then handed the Bible to him. On seeing the Bible, the wicked deed he did long back came to his mind.*

👉 *The mason explained to him “A mother gave the Bible to me long back. Out of hatred I put in along with the bricks in the wall and plastered it.” The officer checked if his Bible was the same as he had taken it from the ruins of a building. To their pleasant surprise, it was the same Bible. They could see his name written in it. A non-believer had become a believer of Christ.*

👉 *Dear, the Holy Bible cannot be destroyed by anyone. Read the Bible given in your hands with sensation. Meditate on the word of God. Then you will see the miracles being fulfilled in your lives. May God bless you according to His promises!*

Who is a REAL FOOL according to the Bible?

GIVE THIS A Thought !!

The World calls this day (April 1) "All Fools Day" or "April Fools Day". But Who is a REAL FOOL according to the Bible?

5 times in the Bible Jesus chose to address people as "fools" in the gospels.

1. The Careless Fool - Mat. 7:24-27 (Those who do not put the Word into practice)

2. The Hypocritical Fool - Mat. 23:17-19 (Those who live double-standard lives)

3. The Sleeping Fool - Mat. 25:1-8 (Those who are unprepared for Jesus’ coming)

4. The Materialistic Fool - Luke 12:16-20 (Those who live for this world)

5. The Unbelieving Fool - Luke 24:25 (Those who do not believe in his promises)

Who else does the Bible say is a fool?

1. He Who Says There Is No God. Psalm. 14:1

2. He Who Trusts In His Own Heart. Proverbs 28:26.

3. He Who Is Always Right [In His Own Eyes.] Proverbs 12:15.

4. He Who Despises Wisdom and Instruction. Proverbs 1:7.

5. He Who Is Soon Angry. Eccl. 7:9.

6. He Who Slanders Others. Proverbs 10:18.

7. He Who Mocks At Sin. Proverbs 14:9.

8. He Who Talks A Lot. Proverbs 29:11

9. He Who Minds Others’ Business. Proverbs 20:3; 26:17

First Easter

This is beautiful 💖
The very first Easter was not in a crowded worship space with singing and praising. On the very first Easter the disciples were locked in their house. It was dangerous for them to come out. They were afraid. They wanted to believe the good news they heard from the women, that Jesus had risen. But it seemed too good to be true. They were living in a time of such despair and such fear. If they left their homes their lives and the lives of their loved ones might be at risk. Could a miracle really have happened? Could life really had won out over death? Could this time of terror and fear really be coming to an end?

Alone in their homes they dared to believe that hope was possible, that the long night was over and morning had broken, that God’s love was the most powerful of all, even though it didn’t seem quite real yet. Eventually, they were able to leave their homes, when the fear and danger had subsided, they went around celebrating and spreading the good news that Jesus was risen and love was the most powerful force on the earth

This year, we might get to experience a taste of what that first Easter was like, still in our homes daring to believe that hope is on the horizon. Then, after a while, when it is safe for all people, when it is the most loving choice, we will come out, gathering together, singing and shouting the good news that God brings life even out of death, that love always has the final say!

This year we might get the closest taste we have had yet to what that first Easter was like.””

Voice of Jesus📣📢📢

*This is purely my imagination based on Luke 5:1-11. Read on and you imagine too!*

🐟:  Shush....What a crowd inside the net! Hey, don’t push me! I am getting all crushed up… (screaming) aah…

Other fish🐡🐬🦈🐠: No, we don't want to crush you but we too want to jump in!

🐟: It is tight packed in here and there’s hardly any breathing space for us! And you too want to get into this crammed net?!

🐡🐬🦈🐠 to 🐟 : Psst.. Don’t raise your voice, just give a little space and more school of fishes want to come in too!

🐟  (Choking…) ugh.. You can’t possibly get inside the net… yuh-uh!

🐡🐬🦈🐠  :Jesus has called us!  We don’t have any option than to submit to His call

🐟  :Do you know what happens when Jesus calls?

🐡🐬🦈🐠: Yes, we sure know!!

🐟 : Tell me what?! What is the purpose of Jesus calling you?

🐡🐬🦈🐠 : Ahhh… yes of course! We know Jesus calls us to die!!

🐟: Oooh so you know the purpose of His calling and yet you want to get in here??

🐠: Let me explain what happened. Yesterday night Peter threw his net into the deep water. We all escaped. Some of us went into the narrow hole down in the sea and some of us deposited sand upon us at the bottom of the sea and we hid ourselves! We knew that Peter, James and John were patiently waiting all night to catch us. But every one of us swam away on seeing Peter’s net!

🐟 : Oh I see… How did you know that the net belongs to Peter?

🐡🐬🦈 : Of course, we have ears to hear the voice of Peter.

🐟 :  Oh.. then what happened?

🐠 : Jesus had intended to call Peter for His ministry. Through our involvement Peter got much more fishes - actually double the capacity of his net. Still nothing happened to the net and it didn’t tear. If we had gone into Peter’s net a day earlier, some Israelites would have eaten us. In any case, one day we all shall die. If we die for Christ, we will be assisting Jesus in His master plan for the rescue of mankind.  He will be glorified and through our death the mankind would enter heaven. After hearing His voice we all have decided to get into the net even if there is no place inside. The life I have lived so far is enough for me!

🐟 :  I see … You are too small and too young. You have not enjoyed worldly blessings like living a long life, going around the sea to admire nature, interact with other fishes to learn more of the sea world?!

🐠 : Once I hear the voice of Jesus there cannot continue to enjoy this sea world.

 Then all the fish are screaming... One more boat had come to help Peter to drag all the fish to the shore! Peter and his friends give up their profession to follow Jesus!

🐡🐬🦈🐠🐟  : Praise the Lord. We have assisted Jesus in His master plan.

                                            *All the fish died happily ever after!*

📖 The man who translated the Bible into English 📗📚

MEET WILLIAM TYNDALE ~  the man who translated the Bible into English and was burnt alive at the ridiculous young age of 42 years old, for his efforts. (Google Foxe's book of Martyrs.)

Please; kindly read this to the end.

Nearly 500 years ago, this week, William Tyndale, fondly called 'Father of the English Bible' was strangled and burned at the stake after being tried and convicted of heresy and treason for translating the Bible into English.

HIS OFFENSE!
He translated the Greek Bible into English. Simple:

That you have a Bible in a language you can read is largely due to his labours, and many of the very phrases you read in it retain the flavour of his understanding of the Greek and Hebrew.

A graduate of Oxford and Cambridge, Tyndale had a powerful desire to make the Bible available to even the common people in England, in order to correct the 'Biblical ignorance of the priests.' At one point Tyndale told a priest, "If God spares my life, ere many years pass, I will cause a boy that driveth the plow, shall know more of the Scriptures than thou dost."

Today, 90% of the King James Version of the Holy Bible and 75% of the Revised Standard Version are from the translation made by Tyndale, a man to whom you owe more than you'll ever know.

A nice dream, but how was Tyndale to accomplish his task, when translating the Bible into English was ILLEGAL at the time?'

He went to London to ask Bishop Tunstall if he could be authorised to make an English translation of the Bible, but the Bishop would not grant his approval.

However, Tyndale would not let the disapproval of men stop him from carrying out what seemed so obviously God's will. With encouragement and support of some British merchants, he decided to go to Europe to complete his translation, then have it printed and smuggled back into England.

In 1524 Tyndale sailed for Germany. In Hamburg, he worked on the New Testament, and in Cologne, he found a printer who would print the work. However, news of Tyndale's activity came to an opponent of the Reformation who had the press raided.

Tyndale himself managed to escape with the pages already printed and made his way to the German city Worms where the New Testament was soon published.

Six thousand copies were printed and smuggled into England.

The Bishops did everything they could to eradicate the Bibles. Bishop Tunstall had copies ceremoniously burned at St. Paul's; the Archbishop of Canterbury bought up copies to destroy them. Tyndale used the money to print improved editions!

Tyndale continued hiding among the merchants in Antwerp and began translating the Old Testament while the King's agents searched all over England and Europe for him.

A copy of Tyndale's "The Obedience of a Christian Man" fell into the hands of Henry VIII, providing the king with the rationale to break the Church in England from the Roman Catholic Church in 1534.
In 1535, Tyndale was arrested and jailed in the castle of Vilvoorde (Filford) outside Brussels for over a year.

Tyndale’s work was denounced by authorities of the Roman Catholic Church and Tyndale himself was accused of heresy.

Tyndale, 42 was finally found by an Englishman who pretended to be his friend but then turned him over to the authorities. After a year and a half in prison, he was brought to trial for heresy -- FOR BELIEVING, among other things, IN THE FORGIVENESS OF SINS and that THE MERCY OFFERED IN THE GOSPEL WAS ENOUGH FOR SALVATION. In August 1536, he was condemned and was executed [burned alive at the stake] publicly on October 6, 1536, in a small town in Belgium.

As he burnt to death, Tyndale reportedly said "Lord, open the king of England's eyes."

WAS HIS PRAYER ANSWERED?

YES! The prayer was answered first in part when three years later, in 1539, Henry VIII required every parish church in England to make a copy of the English Bible available to its parishioners. Today, Tyndale's prayer is fully answered, not only are the King's eyes opened, but the Bible a universal instrument.

* In 1611, the 54 scholars who produced the King James Bible drew significantly from Tyndale, as well as from translations that descended from his.

* In 2002, Tyndale was placed at number 26 in the BBC's poll of the 100 Greatest Britons; but in heaven he surely would be before the preceding 25.

A very important and interesting piece of history worth knowing and appreciating by all believers.
And may it *challenge* us to spend quality time in this same glorious book that this great servant literally gave his life for.

Today it's hard to imagine the world without an English Bible, and there could now be as many as 900 of such translations in existence – but before Tyndale it had never happened. He's known as the Father of the English Bible, since the later, epochal work of the King James Version of the Bible largely consisted of Tyndale's scholarly and accessible translations.

The English language, as with scholarly understanding, continues to evolve – and so the work of Bible translation continues today.

But without the courage and genius of men like Tyndale, who challenged the status quo before them and died for doing so, it might never have been possible.

👩‍🎓Wise Words👨‍🎓

```In life, some may walk, others may run, but remember the Lord gave the tortoise and the horse the same days to reach Noah's ark. Your journey might be rough and tough but you will definitely get to your destination.
Jacob looked at Joseph and saw a good son! The ten brothers looked at Joseph and saw a useless dreamer! The travellers looked at Joseph and saw a slave!! Potiphar looked at Joseph and saw a fine servant!! Potiphar's wife looked at Joseph and saw a potential boyfriend! The prison officers saw in Joseph a prisoner! How wrong were all of them! God looked at Joseph and saw a Prime Minister of Egypt in waiting!! Don't be discouraged by what people see in you!! Be encouraged by what God sees in you!! Never underrate the person next to you because you never know what the Lord has deposited in that person. (Remember David got the anointing of becoming a King while he was a simple child herding sheep. Esther was a simple orphaned girl yet she was a Queen in waiting). Let's share God's love and make the world a better place to live. Show that love by sharing this message with those you love.
IT DOESN'T MATTER HOW PEOPLE SEE YOU, IT MATTERS HOW GOD SEES YOU
God is God:
🏽He doesn't care about *age*, no wonder he blessed Abraham.
🏽He doesn't care about *experience*, no wonder he chose David.
🏽He doesn't care about *gender,* no wonder he lifted Esther.
🏽He doesn't care about *your past*, no wonder he called Paul.
🏽He doesn't care about *your physical appearance*, no wonder he chose Zacchaeus
(the shortest one).
🏽He doesn't care about *fluency in speech* , no wonder he chose Moses.
🏽He doesn't care about *your career*, no wonder he choose Mary Magdalene; a prostitute.
All I know is that my God never changes
🏽He never made *a promise he wouldn't keep*👌🏾
He never saw *a person he wouldn't help*👌🏾
🏽He never heard *a prayer he wouldn't answer*👌🏾
🖼He never found *a soul he wouldn't love*👌🏾
🏽He never found *a sinner he wouldn't forgive*👌🏾
This is the kind of God I would like to commune with every day the moment I wake up. I strongly recommend Him to you.`'
*16.* Ezekiel preached in Iraq.
*17.* The wise men were from Iraq.
*18.* Peter preached in Iraq.
*19.* The "Empire of Man" described in Revelation is called Babylon which was a city in Iraq!
*AND, DID YOU ALSO KNOW THAT?*
Israel is the nation most often mentioned in the Bible. But do you know which nation is second? It is Iraq!
However, that is not the name that is used in the Bible. The names used in the Bible are Babylon, Chaldean, Land of Shinar, and Mesopotamia. The word Mesopotamia means between the two rivers, more exactly between the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers. The name Iraq, means country with deep roots. Indeed Iraq is a country with deep roots and is a very significant country in the Bible. Here's why:
👉Eden was in Iraq-Genesis 2:10-14
👉Adam & Eve were created in Iraq-Genesis 2:7-8
👉Satan made his first recorded appearance in Iraq-Genesis 3:1-6
👉Nimrod established Babylon & Tower of Babel was built in Iraq-Genesis 10:8-97; 11:1-4
👉The confusion of the languages took place in Iraq-Genesis 11:5-11
👉Abraham came from a city in Iraq-Genesis 11:31; Acts 7:2-4
👉Isaac's bride came from Iraq-Genesis 24:3-4; 10
👉Jacob spent 20 years in Iraq-Genesis 27:42-45; 31:38
👉The first world Empire was in Iraq-Daniel 1:1-2;2:36-38
👉The greatest revival in history was in a city in Iraq-Jonah 3
👉The events of the book of Esther took place in Iraq-Esther
👉The book of Nahum was a prophecy against a city in Iraq-Nahum
👉The book or Revelation has prophecies against Babylon, which was the old name for the nation of Iraq-Revelation 17 &18
No other nation, except Israel, that has more history and prophecy associated to it than Iraq.
Surprised???
