Power of Appreciation

Question :What is the best advice your mother ever gave you?

Answer By Jonathan Pettit

I was about ten. My mom had just finished creating one of her amazing meals, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Delicious. Later, as I was washing the dishes, my mom came up to me. “Sorry, dinner was so awful again,” she said.

I was shocked. “What? No, it was great. I loved it.”

“Really?” she said, with mock surprise. “You always eat so quietly, never saying anything. You’ve never told me you liked my cooking, so I thought you hated it.”

“No, you’re the best cook I know.”

“Then you should tell me that,” she said. “Whenever someone does something nice for you, you should thank that person. If you don’t, then she might think she’s not appreciated and stop doing those nice things.”

Something clicked right then. From that day onward, I thanked everyone for literally everything. If anyone did something that even vaguely helped me, I thanked that person profusely. It became a habit, something I didn’t even think about, and that’s when the magic started happening.

People liked me more. They talked to me more, shared with me, were more friendly. In my first year of high school, during the final week, I came home and found a giant freezie (a kind of sweet frozen snack) waiting for me. “Thanks, mom!” I said instinctively.

“This isn’t from me, she said. “This is from your bus driver.” He had been driving that bus for years, and my siblings and I were the first people to ever thank him as we got dropped off. Those two simple words made a huge difference, so much so that he went out of his way to tell our mom and give us a present.

That’s the power of appreciation. When you have it, all is right in the world, but when it’s missing life is empty. My mom taught me many things, but taking two seconds to say ‘thank you’ every time, in any situation, was the best.

*Debriefing of this Story*

You would have met people who call themselves as good critics but have you ever met a person who says I am good at appreciating others? Isn't that a sad part of our society?

Let's start appreciating people more frequently especially people who are close to us.

๐ŸšSalt vs Rice๐Ÿ›

*Very Beautifully written, can’t stop sharing*

*Salt -VS- Rice...*

If you were to cook 3 cups of rice, would you add 3 cups of salt to it ?

Certainly not !

So, in every preparation of rice, the rice always outnumbers the salt, yet a little salt makes a huge difference /impact in the overall outcome.

In the room in which you currently are, look up at the ceiling...

What is the size of the bulb compared to the size of the room ?

It is probably a ratio of 1:5000.

Yet, darkness flees the entire space once the small bulb is flipped on.

If I am the salt of the earth, and the light of the world, then "little me" has the ability to make big things happen..

Sometimes, because we feel outnumbered or overwhelmed at the sheer magnitude of evil or wrong-doers, we then choose powerlessness, and decide to go with the flow, not standing up for what we believe is right.

Little doesn't mean insignificant.

You are significant.

Your presence should make a BIG difference.

Stop waiting to be on the side of the majority.

They may be the majority, but they are the trivial majority, and you are the impactful minority.

They are the rice of the world, and you are the salt of the world..

They are the room and you are the light.

Make your influence felt!

Remember:

You are the world's seasoning, to make it beautiful...

So if we can just do the right seasoning to  make even one life beautiful our life is worth living.

Have a blessed day๐Ÿ˜Š

Onwards and Upwards !

Be the salt or the light in someone's life today๐ŸŒŸ

๐ŸตThe Daffodil day๐Ÿ’

Several times my daughter had telephoned to say, "Mother, you must come to see the daffodils before they are over."  I wanted to go, but it was a two-hour drive from Laguna to Lake Arrowhead "I will come next Tuesday", I promised a little reluctantly on her third call.

Next Tuesday dawned cold and rainy. Still, I had promised, and reluctantly I drove there. When I finally walked into Carolyn's house I was welcomed by the joyful sounds of happy children. I delightedly hugged and greeted my grandchildren.

"Forget the daffodils, Carolyn! The road is invisible in these clouds and fog, and there is nothing in the world except you and these children that I want to see badly enough to drive another inch!"

My daughter smiled calmly and said, "We drive in this all the time, Mother."  "Well, you won't get me back on the road until it clears, and then I'm heading for home!" I assured her.

"But first we're going to see the daffodils. It's just a few blocks," Carolyn said. "I'll drive. I'm used to this."

"Carolyn," I said sternly, "please turn around." "It's all right, Mother, I promise. You will never forgive yourself if you miss this experience."

After about twenty minutes, we turned onto a small gravel road and I saw a small church. On the far side of the church, I saw a hand lettered sign with an arrow that read, "Daffodil Garden."  We got out of the car, each took a child's hand, and I followed Carolyn down the path. Then, as we turned a corner, I looked up and gasped. Before me lay the most glorious sight.

It looked as though someone had taken a great vat of gold and poured it over the mountain peak and its surrounding slopes. The flowers were planted in majestic, swirling patterns, great ribbons and swaths of deep orange, creamy white, lemon yellow, salmon pink, and saffron and butter yellow. Each different-colored variety was planted in large groups so that it swirled and flowed like its own river with its own unique hue. There were five acres of flowers.

"Who did this?" I asked Carolyn.  "Just one woman," Carolyn answered. "She lives on the property. That's her home." Carolyn pointed to a well-kept A-frame house, small and modestly sitting in the midst of all that glory. We walked up to the house.

On the patio, we saw a poster. "Answers to the Questions I Know You Are Asking", was the headline. The first answer was a simple one. "50,000 bulbs," it read. The second answer was, "One at a time, by one woman. Two hands, two feet, and one brain." The third answer was, "Began in 1958."

For me, that moment was a life-changing experience. I thought of this woman whom I had never met, who, more than forty years before, had begun, one bulb at a time, to bring her vision of beauty and joy to an obscure mountaintop. Planting one bulb at a time, year after year, this unknown woman had forever changed the world in which she lived. One day at a time, she had created something of extraordinary magnificence, beauty, and inspiration. The principle her daffodil garden taught is one of the greatest principles of celebration.

Daffodil garden is one of the greatest principles of celebration.

That is, learning to move toward our goals and desires one step at a time--often just one baby-step at time--and learning to love the doing, learning to use the accumulation of time. When we multiply tiny pieces of time with small increments of daily effort, we too will find we can accomplish magnificent things. We can change the world ...

"It makes me sad in a way," I admitted to Carolyn. "What might I have accomplished if I had thought of a wonderful goal thirty-five or forty years ago and had worked away at it 'one bulb at a time' through all those years? Just think what I might have been able to achieve!"

My daughter summed up the message of the day in her usual direct way. "Start tomorrow," she said.

She was right. It's so pointless to think of the lost hours of yesterdays. The way to make learning a lesson of celebration instead of a cause for regret is to only ask, "How can I put this to use today?"

Use the Daffodil Principle. Stop waiting.....

๐ŸฆReal king๐Ÿฆ‰- ๐Ÿ†Jungle story๐Ÿฆ„

Once upon a time in a Jungle, not far away, a Jackass decided that he wanted to be the King of the Jungle.

He hired a bunch of hyenas to groom him for the next elections and in return he promised them as many animals as they could eat.

The hyenas laughed and agreed, getting down to work.

"Only a Lion can be the King of the Jungle", a wise old owl said.

So the hyenas designed a long flowing mane for the Jackass to wear around his face so that he looked a little bit like a lion.

"He is still a Jackass", said the wise old owl.

So they put up posters of the Jackass everywhere across the jungle, saying he is a Lion, till all the animals were convinced that he is a Lion indeed.

When the Jackass went to give his speech, he brayed.

"He brays, he is a jackass", said the wise old owl.

But the hyenas used voice modulation techniques and made him roar like a lion and all the animals clapped and cheered.

The Jackass blamed all the previous kings and told the gullible animals how they were all useless and how he was the savior who would "Make Jungle Great Again"

The strategy of the hyenas worked... The animals, with an overwhelming majority, made the Jackass the King and threw the previous King out of the Jungle, calling him an Accidental Lion King.

He first cut off all the leaves from the tree saying this would get in more sunlight in the jungle.

"That's exactly what a jackass would do. No leaves will take away the natural shield we get", said the wise old owl.

The hyenas banded together and told the wise of owl to #GoToCity

The Jackass then stopped all rivers by piling stones into them, saying this will store water for everyone.

"That's exactly what a jackass would do. Stopping the natural flow of the river which is important in cleaning it up, just take enough water that we need and let the rest flow", said the wise old owl.

The hyenas labeled the owl as an Anti-Jungle, called him a Jungle-Naxal and threw him in the jail.

They stuck more posters all over the jungle on the trees bereft of leaves now and all the animals happily accepted that they had got a Visionary Masterstroker as their King.

Soon, the jungle was struck by a cold wave and the temperatures dropped and the animals begun to freeze.

The King decided to set the trees on fire to counter the freezing cold.

"That's exactly what a jackass would do. I had told you cutting off the leaves would take away our natural protection", said the wise old owl.

But no one listened to him, anymore.

The King invited everyone in the jungle to celebrate the burning of the trees.

The King stood with his pack of hyenas as the fires raged and the animals danced around the fires, as the flames got closer and closer to them.

He turned to the hyenas and said, "I had promised you all the animals you could eat. There, go ahead and take your pick, they would be cooked in sometime".

"He is a jackass", came the voice from the jail, but the animals were busy celebrating the Jungle Fire Utsav.

The flames started engulfing the animals, singeing them as the hyenas approached for their promised feast.

Some of the flames suddenly moved towards the King and his fake mane caught on fire.

The King stood steadfast as his mane slowly started burning away, his real face exposed.

The animals noticed it and shouted, "Damn it, we did not elect a lion, we made the jackass our King".

The wise old owl said, "You don't have to wait till the mane catches fire. You can figure out a Jackass for what he is, just by his actions. Or atleast listen to the voices of wisdom"

But there were very few animals left to listen to him now......

๐ŸฆHe not only forgives, but He forgets- ๐Ÿฆ†Duck story๐Ÿฆข

A little boy was visiting his grandparents on their farm. And he was given a slingshot to play with, out in the woods. He practiced in the woods but he could never hit the target. And getting a little discouraged; he headed back to dinner.

As he was walking back he saw Grandma’s pet duck. Just out of impulse, he let it fly, hit the duck soiree in the head, and killed it. He was shocked and grieved.

In a panic, he hid the dead duck in the woodpile, only to see his sister watching. Sally had seen it all, but she said nothing.

After lunch that day Grandma said, “Sally, let’s wash the dishes.” But Sally said, “Grandma, Johnny told me he wanted to help in the kitchen today, didn’t you Johnny?” And then she whispered to him, “Remember, the duck?”

So Johnny did the dishes.

Later, Grandpa asked if the children wanted to go fishing, and Grandma said, “I am sorry but I need Sally to help make supper.” But Sally smiled and said, “Well, that’s all right, because Johnny told me he wanted to help.” And she whispered again, “Remember, the duck?”

So Sally went fishing and Johnny stayed.

After several days of Johnny doing both his chores and Sally’s, he finally couldn’t stand it any longer. He came to Grandma and confessed that he killed the duck. She knelt, hugged him, and said, “Sweetheart, I know. You see, I was standing at the window and I saw the whole thing. But because I love you, I forgave you.

But I was just wondering how long you would let Sally make you a slave.”

I don’t know what’s in your past.

I don’t know what one sin the enemy keeps throwing up in your face. But whatever it is, I want you to know something.

The Lord Jesus Christ was standing at the window. And He saw the whole thing. But because He loves you, He has forgiven you. Perhaps He’s wondering how long you’ll let the enemy make a slave out of you. The great thing about God is that He not only forgives, but He forgets.

The Red Marbles- A must read story

I was at the corner grocery store buying some early potatoes. I noticed a small boy, delicate of bone and feature, ragged but clean, hungrily appraising a basket of freshly picked green peas.

I paid for my potatoes but was also drawn to the display of fresh green peas. I am a pushover for creamed peas and new potatoes.

Pondering the peas, I couldn't help overhearing... the conversation between Mr.. Miller (the store owner) and the ragged boy next to me.

'Hello Barry, how are you today?'

'Hello, Mr. Miller. Fine, thank ya. Just' admiring' them peas. They sure look good..'

'They are good, Barry.. How's your Ma?'

'Fine. Getting' stronger all the' time.'

'Good. Anything I can help you with?'

'No, Sir.

Just admiring  them peas.'

'Would you like to take some home?' asked Mr. Miller.

'No, Sir. Got nothing to pay for 'them with.'

'Well, what have you to trade me for some of those peas?'

'All I got's my prize marble here.'

'Is that right? Let me see it' said Miller.

'Here 'tis. She's a dandy.'

'I can see that. Hmm mmm, only thing is this one is blue and I sort of go for red. Do you have a red one like this at home?' the store owner asked..

'Not exactly but almost.'

'Tell you what. Take this sack of peas home with you and next trip this way let me look at that red marble'. Mr. Miller told the boy.

'Sure will. Thanks Mr. Miller.'

Mrs... Miller, who had been standing nearby, came over to help me.

With a smile she said, 'There are two other boys like him in our community, all three are in very poor circumstances.. Jim just loves to bargain with them for peas, apples, tomatoes, or whatever..

When they come back with their red marbles, and they always do, he decides he doesn't like red after all and he sends them home with a bag of produce for a green marble or an orange one, when they come on their next trip to the store.'

I left the store smiling to myself, impressed with this man. A short time later I moved to Colorado , but I never forgot the story of this man, the boys, and their bartering for marbles.

Several years went by, each more rapid than the previous one. Just recently I had occasion to visit some old friends in that Idaho community and while I was there learned that Mr. Miller had died. They were having his visitation that evening and knowing my friends wanted to go, I agreed to accompany them. Upon arrival at the mortuary we fell into line to meet the relatives of the deceased and to offer whatever words of comfort we could.

Ahead of us in line were three young men. One was in an army uniform and the other two wore nice haircuts, dark suits and white shirts...all very professional looking. They approached Mrs. Miller, standing composed and smiling by her husband's casket.

Each of the young men hugged her, kissed her on the cheek, spoke briefly with her and moved on to the casket. Her misty light blue eyes followed them as, one by one, each young man stopped briefly and placed his own warm hand over the cold pale hand in the casket. Each left the mortuary awkwardly, wiping his eyes...

Our turn came to meet Mrs. Miller. I told her who I was and reminded her of the story from those many years ago and what she had told me about her husband's bartering for marbles. With her eyes glistening, she took my hand and led me to the casket.

'Those three young men who just left were the boys I told you about.

They just told me how they appreciated the things Jim 'traded' them. Now, at last, when Jim could not change his mind about color or size.....they came to pay their debt.'

'We've never had a great deal of the wealth of this world,' she confided, 'but right now, Jim would consider himself the richest man in Idaho ..'

With loving gentleness she lifted the lifeless fingers of her deceased husband. Resting underneath were three exquisitely shined red marbles.

The Moral:

We will not be remembered by our words, but by our kind deeds. Life is not measured by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath.

Today I wish you a day of ordinary miracles ~ A fresh pot of coffee you didn't make yourself...An unexpected phone call from an old friend.... Green stoplights on your way to work....

The fastest line at the grocery store....

A good sing-along song on the radio..

Your keys found right where you left them.

Wonderful story - Do good dont stop doing good!!

A woman baked chapatti (roti) for members of her family and an extra one for a hungry passerby. She kept the extra chapatti on the window sill, for whosoever would take it away. Every day, a hunchback came and took away the chapatti. Instead of expressing gratitude, he muttered the following words as he went his way: “The evil you do remains with you: The good you do, comes back to you!” This went on, day after day. Every day, the hunchback came, picked up the chapatti and uttered the words:

“The evil you do, remains with you: The good you do, comes back to you!” The woman felt irritated. “Not a word of gratitude,” she said to herself… “Everyday this hunchback utters this jingle! What does he mean?” One day, exasperated, she decided to do away with him. “I shall get rid of this hunchback,” she said. And what did she do? She added poison to the chapatti she prepared for him!

As she was about to keep it on the window sill, her hands trembled. “What is this I am doing?” she said. Immediately, she threw the chapatti into the fire, prepared another one and kept it on the window sill. As usual, the hunchback came, picked up the chapatti and muttered the words: “The evil you do, remains with you: The good you do, comes back to you!”

The hunchback proceeded on his way, blissfully unaware of the war raging in the mind of the woman. Every day, as the woman placed the chapatti on the window sill, she offered a prayer for her son who had gone to a distant place to seek his fortune. For many months, she had no news of him.. She prayed for his safe return.

That evening, there was a knock on the door. As she opened it, she was surprised to find her son standing in the doorway. He had grown thin and lean. His garments were tattered and torn. He was hungry, starved and weak. As he saw his mother, he said, “Mom, it’s a miracle I’m here. While I was but a mile away, I was so famished that I collapsed. I would have died, but just then an old hunchback passed by. I begged of him for a morsel of food, and he was kind enough to give me a whole chapatti. As he gave it to me, he said, “This is what I eat everyday: today, I shall give it to you, for your need is greater than mine!”

” As the mother heard those words, her face turned pale. She leaned against the door for support. She remembered the poisoned chapatti that she had made that morning. Had she not burnt it in the fire, it would have been eaten by her own son, and he would have lost his life!

It was then that she realized the significance of the words: “The evil you do remains with you: The good you do, comes back to you!” Do good and Don’t ever stop doing good, even if it is not appreciated at that time.

Broken crayons still colour ๐Ÿ‘ฉ‍๐ŸŽจ

*It is a mistake to think time is going. Time is not going. Time is here until the world ends. It is you that is going. You don’t waste time. Time is infinite. You waste yourself. You are finite. It is you that grow old and die. Time doesn’t. So make better use of yourself before you expire. And one of the worst things to do with time is comparing yourself to others. A cow eats grass and gets fat but if dog eats grass, it will die. Never compare yourself with others. Run your own race. What works for one person may be that which will kill you. *_"Can you sleep when the wind blows?"_*

_The following story is a superb metaphorical exposition of the level of preparedness._

_Years ago, a farmer owned some land along the Atlantic seacoast._
_He constantly advertised for hired hands. Most people were reluctant to work on farms along the Atlantic._

_They dreaded the awful storms that raged across the Atlantic, wreaking havoc on the buildings and crops. As the farmer interviewed applicants for the job, he received a steady stream of refusals._

_Finally, a short, thin man, well past middle age, approached the farmer. 'Are you a good farm hand?' the farmer asked him._

_'Well, I can sleep when the wind blows,' answered the little man._

_Although puzzled by this answer, the farmer, desperate for help, hired him._

_The little man worked well around the farm, busy from dawn to dusk, and the farmer felt satisfied with the man's work._

_Then one night the wind howled loudly in from offshore._

_Jumping out of bed, the farmer grabbed a lantern and rushed next door to the hired hand's sleeping quarters. He shook the little man and yelled, 'Get up! A storm is coming!_

_Tie things down before they blow away!' The little man rolled over in bed and said firmly, 'No sir. I told you, I can sleep when the wind blows.'_

_Enraged by the response, the farmer was tempted to fire him on the spot. Instead, he hurried outside to prepare for the storm. To his amazement, he discovered that all of the haystacks had been covered with tarpaulins. The cows were in the barn, the chickens were in the coops, and the doors were barred. The shutters were tightly secured. Everything was tied down. Nothing could blow away. The farmer then understood what his hired hand meant, so he returned to his bed to also sleep while the wind blew._

_When you're prepared, spiritually, mentally, and physically, you have nothing to fear. Can you sleep when the wind blows through your life?_

_The hired hand in the story was able to sleep because he had secured the farm against the storm._

*_The above story goes on to talk about trials and tribulations in life and if we do our best to understand, accept, and implement the principles learnt by us we will experience a deep sense of security, peace, and joy from within.  We will then be able to 'sleep when the wind blows.'_*

*_Love and Peace Be With You.._*

Need to know where we are going. ..??!!

BILLY GRAHAM

Billy Graham is now 92 years-old with Parkinson's disease.

In January, leaders in Charlotte, North Carolina invited their favorite
son, Billy Graham, to a luncheon in his honor.

Billy initially hesitated to accept the invitation because he
struggles with Parkinson's disease. But the Charlotte leaders said,
'We don't expect a major address. Just come and let us honor you.' So
he agreed.

After wonderful things were said about him, Dr. Graham stepped to the
rostrum, looked at the crowd, and said,
"I'm reminded today of Albert Einstein, the great physicist who this
month has been honored by Time magazine as the Man of the Century.
Einstein was once traveling from Princeton on a train when the
conductor came down the aisle, punching the tickets of every
passenger. When he came to Einstein, Einstein reached in his vest
pocket. He couldn't find his ticket, so he reached in his trouser
pockets.
It wasn't there.

He looked in his briefcase but couldn't find it.

Then he looked in the seat beside him. He still couldn't find it.

"The conductor said, 'Dr. Einstein, I know who you are. We all know
who you are. I'm sure you bought a ticket. Don't worry about it.'

"Einstein nodded appreciatively. The conductor continued down the
aisle punching tickets. As he was ready to move to the next car, he
turned around and saw the great physicist down on his hands and knees
looking under his seat for his ticket.

"The conductor rushed back and said, 'Dr. Einstein, Dr.
Einstein, don't worry, I know who you are; no problem. You don't
need a ticket. I'm sure you bought one.'

Einstein looked at him and said, "Young man, I too, know who I am.
What I don't know is where I'm going.

Having said that Billy Graham continued, "See the suit I'm wearing?
It's a brand new suit. My children, and my grandchildren are telling
me I've gotten a little slovenly in my old age. I used to be a bit
more fastidious. So I went out and bought a new suit for this
luncheon and one more occasion. You know what that occasion is? This
is the suit in which I'll be buried. But when you hear I'm dead, I
don't want you to immediately remember the suit I'm wearing. I want
you to remember this:

I not only know who I am. I also know where I'm going." May your
troubles be less, your blessings more, and may nothing but happiness,
come through your door. "Life without God is like an unsharpened
pencil - it has no point."

And may each of us have lived our lives so that when our ticket is
punched we don't have to  worry about where we are going. it blesses you, don't loose the blessings. It's worth sharing...We all need to know where we are going.

Victory belongs to Lord

VICTORY BELONGS TO THE LORD!

Are you in a fear ๐Ÿ˜ฑ, how the day is going to be??? Or How u gonna face the day and solve the problems?? Or How u gonna face your higher authority?? etc whatsoever....

Don't fear, when Jesus is near you. As the scripture says, "The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.” Exodus 14:14.
Amazing Biblical truth that is very encouraging ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฝ

When *GOD* created the *fish,*
*HE* spoke to the *sea,*

when *GOD* created *trees,*
*HE* spoke to the *earth,*

but when *GOD* created *Man,* *HE spoke to Himself.*
*_Then GOD said, “Let US make Man in Our image, according to Our likeness._*

If you Take a *fish* out of the *water*, it will *die* and when you take a *tree* off the *earth,* it will also *die*. Similarly, when *Man* is *disconnected* from *GOD,* he *dies.*

*GOD* is our *natural environment.* We are created to *live in HIS presence.* *We must be connected to HIM because only in HIM there is Life.*

STAY CONNECTED TO GOD.

Remember...
*GOD without Man is still GOD but Man without GOD is Nothing*.

Today keep believing this verse and ask Jesus to fulfill it in ur doings, surely you will see all your problems getting solved. Fear will flee away from you and hope in Jesus will strengthen you and you will have complete peace in your heart. But be faithful in Jesus and truthful in ur doings. Have a peaceful day ahead ๐Ÿ˜Š

Jesus be with you and Bless you ๐Ÿ’

Wonderful testimonies by greatest Evangelist

Joyce Meyer began her own ministry 30 years ago at the age of 42. She now has one of the largest ministries in history. A divorced, abused, uneducated woman with a call, a tremendous work ethic, a truckload of faith and a connection to everyday people...wow. She's 72.

Joel Osteen wasn't the obvious choice of John and Dodie to take the reins of the great Lakewood Church and its international television ministry. Joel was the shy, ORU dropout who did the editing for the television ministry. He wore his dad's shoes for his first sermon. The church has grown 500% in membership and added millions to its international ministry becoming a voice of hope to the unchurched and believers around the world. Joel is 52 years old and Victoria his wife is 54. Joel has sold millions of inspirational books and has the world's most watched television ministry.

Beth Moore, at 58 years old, has built a teaching empire climbing the forbidden ladder of the Southern Baptist Convention, a denomination who will not ordain women into the 5-fold-ministry. She has crossed denominational boundaries and won the church world with her scriptural unfolding of powerful truths that address ordinary lives.

T.D. Jakes is 58 years old. He answered the call to ministry in the coal mining Appalachian mountains of West Virginia where black people represented only 2% of the state's population. He pastored his storefront church with a coal stove in the sanctuary, a lisp and without a college degree. He took his Sunday School lesson he developed, "Woman Thou Art Loosed", and brought a delivering word to millions of broken women and is now possibly the greatest preacher of our generation with great success in the movie business, the publishing world as a best selling author, the music world and pastors the great Potter's House in Dallas with several satellite churches.

Billy Graham is 97 years old and has a wonderful reputation and has been able to bring diplomacy to divided people and surpass political parties, denominations and modern limits reaching millions around the world with the simple gospel of Jesus Christ. He is one of history's greatest evangelists.

Whether you are called into the ministry to pastor 40 people or to lead worship at a retirement center or to minister to millions, you are not too old or too unqualified for God to use you. Obey the call of God on your life. Step out and minister to God's precious people. God's not through using you. Someone needs you to survive. You can do this.
