Mind blowing story. .!!

A story worth sharing ....

A 4 yr old boy was in the market with his 6 yr old sister…Suddenly the boy found that his sister was lagging behind.
He stopped and looked back. His sister was standing in front of a toy shop and was watching something with great interest.

The boy went back to her and asked,”Do you want something?” The sister pointed at the doll. The boy held her hand and like a responsible elder brother, gave that doll to her.The sister was very very happy…
The shopkeeper was watching everything and getting amused to see the matured behavior of the boy… Now the boy came to the counter and asked the shopkeeper,
“What is the cost of this doll, Sir!”
The shopkeeper was a cool man and had experienced the odds of life. So he asked the boy with a lot of love n affection,”
Well, What can you pay?”

The boy took out all the shells that he had collected from sea shore, from his pocket and gave them to the shopkeeper. The shopkeeper took the shells and started counting as if he were counting the currency. Then he looked at the boy.The boy asked him worriedly,”Is it less?
”The shopkeeper said,” No,No…These are more than the cost. So I will return the remaining.” Saying so,he kept only 4 shells with him and returned the remaining. The boy, very happily kept those shells back in his pocket and went away with his sister…
A worker in that shop got very surprised watching all these. He asked his master,” Sir!You gave away such a costly doll just for 4 shells???
“The shopkeeper said with a smile,” Well, For us these are mere shells.
But for that boy, these shells are very precious. And at this age he does not understand what money is, but when he will grow up, he definitely will. And when he would remember that he purchased a doll with the Shells instead of Money, he will remember Me and think that world is full of Good people.
He will develop positive thinking..Thats it…”

A True Story

A man from   Norfolk VA, called a local radio station to share this on Sept 11th, 2003, TWO YEARS AFTER THE TRAGEDIES OF 9/11/2001.
His name was Robert Matthews. These are his words:
A few weeks before Sept. 11th, my wife and I found out we were going to have our first child. She planned a trip out to California to visit her sister.  On our way to the airport, we prayed that God would grant my wife a safe trip and be with her. Shortly after I said 'amen,' we both heard a loud pop and the car shook violently.. We had blown out a tire. I replaced the tire as quickly as I could, but we still missed her flight.. both very upset, we drove home..
I received a call from my father who was retired NYFD. He asked what my wife's flight number was, but I explained that we missed the flight.
My father informed me that her flight was the one that crashed into the southern tower. I was too shocked to speak. My father also had more news for me; he was going to help. 'This is not something I can't just sit by for; I have to do something.'
I was concerned for his safety, of course, but more because he had never given his life to Christ. After a brief debate, I knew his mind was made up.  Before he got off of the phone, he said, 'take good care of my grandchild.  Those were the last words I ever heard my father say; he died while helping in the rescue effort.
My joy that my prayer of safety for my wife had been answered quickly became anger. I was angry at God, at my father, and at  myself. I had gone for nearly two years blaming God for taking my father away. My son would never know his grandfather, my father had never accepted Christ, and I never got to say good-bye.
Then something happened. About two months ago, I was sitting at home with my wife and my son, when there was a knock on the  door. I looked at my wife, but I could tell she wasn't expecting anyone. I opened the door to a couple with a small child.
The man looked at me and asked if my father's name was Jake Matthews. I told him it was. He quickly grabbed my hand and said, 'I never got the chance to meet your father, but it is an honor to meet his son.'
He explained to me that his wife had worked in the World Trade Center and had been caught inside after the attack. She was pregnant and had been caught under debris. He then explained that my father had been the one to find his wife and free her.  My eyes welled up with tears as I thought of my father giving his life for people like this. He then said, 'there is something else you need to know.'
His wife then told me that as my father worked to free her, she talked to him and led him to Christ. I began sobbing at the news.
Now I know that when I get to Heaven, my father will be standing beside Jesus to welcome me, and that this family would be able to thank him themselves ..
When their baby boy was born, they named him Jacob Matthew, in honor of the man who gave his life so that a mother and baby could live. This story should help us to realize this: God is always in control.
We may not see the reason behind things, and we may never know this side of heaven, but God is ALWAYS in control.
Please take time to share this amazing story.  You may never know the impact it may have on someone...  God doesn't call the qualified, He qualifies the called.
Give thanks to the Lord for He is good.  His love endures Forever.  Psalm 136:1

Sad but true

Sad but true!!

A teacher after dinner, started checking homework done by her students. Her husband was strolling around with a smart phone playing his favourite game ‘Candy Crush Saga’.

When reading the last note, the wife starts crying with silent tears.

Her husband saw this and asked, ‘Why are you crying dear? What happened?’

Wife: ‘Yesterday I gave homework to my 1st Standard students, to write something abt 'My Wish'

Husband: ‘OK, but why are you crying?’

Wife: ‘Today while checking the last note, it made me cry’

Husband (curiously): ‘What’s written in the note that made you to cry?’

Wife: ‘Listen’

My wish is to become a smart phone.

My parents only love smart phones.

They care for their smart phones so much that sometimes they forget to care for me.

When my father comes from office very tired, he has time for his smart phone but not for me.

When my parents are doing some important work and when the smart phone rings, on a single ring they attend the phone, but not me even...

even if I am crying.

They play games on their smart phones but not with me.

When they are talking to someone on their smart phone, they never listen to me even if I am telling them about something important.

So, My wish is to become a smart phone.

After listening to the note, her husband got emotional and asked her, ‘who wrote this?’.

Wife: ‘Our son’!!

Gadgets are beneficial, but they are for our ease & not to be used to the extent of forsaking the love amongst the loved ones.

Children see and feel everything that happens, with & around them. It gets imprinted on their mind with an everlasting effect. Let’s take due care, that they do not grow up with wrong impressions of being forsaken.

Never lose hope. .

All things work for our good
Though sometimes we don't
See how they could
Struggles that break our hearts in two
Sometimes blind us to the truth
Our Father knows what's best for us
His ways are not our own
So when your pathway grows dim
And you just don't see him,
Remember your never alone

God is too wise to be mistaken
God is too good to be unkind
So when you don't understand
When don't see his plan
When you can't trace his hand
Trust His Heart

He sees the master plan
He holds the future in his hand,
So don't live as those who have no hope,
ALL our hope is found in him.
We see the present clearly
He sees the first and last
And like a tapestry He's weaving you and me,
To someday be just like him

He alone is faithful and true
He alone knows what is best for you

When you can't trace his hand
When you don't see his plan
When you don't understand
Trust His Heart

Difference between the RICH AND POOR...!!!

Who is poor?

A wealthy woman goes to a saree store and tells the boy at the counter "Bhaiya show some cheap sarees. It is my son's marriage and I have to give to my maid."

After sometime, the maid comes to the saree shop and tells the boy at the counter "Bhaiya show some expensive sarees. I want to gift my Mistress on her son's marriage"

Poverty is in the mind or in the purse?

Who is Rich?

Once, a lady with her family was staying in a 3-star hotel for a picnic. She was the mother of a 6 month old baby.
"Can I get 1 cup of milk?" asked the lady to the 3-star hotel manager.
"Yes madam", he replied.
"But it will cost 100 bucks". "No problem", said the lady.
While driving back from hotel, the child was hungry again.

They stopped at a road side tea stall and took milk from the tea vendor

"How much?” she asked the tea vendor.

"Madam, we don't charge money for kid's milk", the old man said with a smile.

"Let me know if you need more for the journey". The lady took one more cup and left.

She wondered, "Who’s richer? The hotel manager or the old tea vendor?

Sometimes, in the race for more money, we forget that we are all humans. Let's help someone in need, without expecting something in return. It will make us feel better than what money can.

Coffee never knew that it would taste so nice and sweet, before it met milk and sugar.

We are good as individuals but become better when we meet and blend with the right people....

Stay connected.

"The world is full of nice people... If we can't find one... Let's Be one.

Testimony of Johnny Lever

"I am originally from South India. My father used to work for Hindustan Lever Ltd so we got settled in Mumbai. My actual name was John Rao and I've done my schooling from Andhra Educational Society. Though I was nota very bright student I used to manage to get through my exams.

Ours was a Christian family but as far as I am concerned I was just a nominal one. I was a Christian mainly on Christmas and Easter days. Jesus was just a friend for me, remembered only in times of trouble. Right from my childhood I was a very free and friendly person. I never took life seriously. I was more a social person and I used take every God as my God and every festival as my festival.

Freaking out with friends was one of my favorite pass times and as a result my father found that I was slowly loosing track in life. So he put me in a job at Hindustan Lever Ltd as an employee. Even at my work place I wasalways making fun, cracking jokes andalso used to do some plays for my co- workers at lunch breaks and other freetimes. Many used to watch me doing those plays and at the end they would all come and congratulate me.

Most of them said 'Johnny you are extremely talented why don't you try your luck infilms' this statement started to ring inmy mind very often. I signed my first movie in 1975 and in the year 1981, I left Hindustan Lever Ltd. I changed my name from John Rao to Johnny Lever and from then I never looked back.

Success after success followed and finally it became my surname. I made a lot of money and network. I have a status in the society. I along with my family live a costly life, enjoying every thing on earth. I had so much of network that once I did a play on National Anthem, which was actually against the law, and as a result I was arrested and put to prison, but believe me that I had a royal treatment. Many of my fans stepped in; the police received many phone calls from film and political celebrities asking them not to touch me. I personally received many wishes and flowers asking me not to worry. On the third day I got the bail and I was out. After such incidents I always felt that my money, my status and my network of friends can help me at every situation of life. Every day we had a party irrespective of the reason. It came to such an extent that if I was out of work I was with a bottle.

Life went on just the same with success and party but every thing got toiled on one node i.e. when my son Jesse was diagnosed tumor on his neck. I took him to every Famous Specialist but they all said if we operate we can't guarantee his right part of the body functioning. I was ready to spend every penny on my child but was of no use. My wife Sujatha went to different temples but they all said 'if you get your son operated he will die'. We tried every source but nothing was in our favor.

The only that was left was to come on to our knees and pray to the Living God. We sent prayer requests to every church we know and every one started to prayfor my child and at last the operation was successful.

Today, my son doesn't have even a trace of tumor in him. From then I slowly started to read the Bible, and every word I felt so strong and true that I repeatedly read it. Every word from the Bible seems to be talking to me. Slowly I started to examine myself in accordance to the Bible and slowly asked God to help me in changing my life style. God gave me grace and today I left my drinking habit. I had a big bar at my home, but today at the same place I conduct prayer meetings twice a week. During my travel I see that I carry the Bible and read it.

Today we as a family have regular family prayer meetings. I justwant to thank God for his goodness in our lives. We have a perfect peace in our family". "All that I would like to tell to every one is that the peace you find in Jesus you can never get in anything in the world – TRY JESUS!" Today, Johnny tries to reach out to every individual with the Gospel through the talent he has.

True Disciples

PASTOR DISGUISES HIMSELF AS A DESTITUTE
Pastor Jeremiah Steepek transformed himself into a homeless person and went to the 10,000 member church that he was to be introduced as the head pastor that morning.
He walked around the church for 30 minutes while it was filling with people for service in which only 3 people out of the about 10,000 people said hello to him.
He asked people for change to buy food , no one in the church gave him change.
He went into the sanctuary to sit down in the front of the church and was asked by the ushers if he would please sit in the back.
He greeted people only to be greeted back with stares and dirty looks, with people looking down on him and judging him.
As he sat in the back of the church, he listened to the church announcements and such.
When all that was done, the elders went up and were excited to introduce the new pastor of the church to the congregation.
“We would like to introduce to you Pastor Jeremiah Steepek.” The congregation looked around clapping with joy and anticipation.
The homeless man sitting in the back stood up and started walking down the aisle. The clapping stopped with all eyes on him.
He walked up the altar and took the microphone from the elders (who were in on this) and paused for a moment then he recited: “Then the King will say to those on his right,
‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world.
For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’
“Then the righteous will answer him: ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’
‘The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’
After he recited this, he looked towards the congregation and told them all what he had experienced that morning. Many began to cry and many heads were bowed in shame.
He then said, “Today I see a gathering of people, not a church of Jesus Christ. The world has enough people, but not enough disciples. When will YOU decide to become disciples?”

A beautiful message

A man went to God and asked, "What's the value of life?"
God gave him one stone and said, "Find out the value of this stone, but don't sell it."
The man took the stone to an Orange Seller and asked him what it's cost would be.
The Orange Seller saw the shiny stone and said, "You can take 12 oranges and give me the stone."
The man apologized and said that the God has asked him not to sell it.
He went ahead and found a vegetable seller. "What could be the value of this stone?" he asked the vegetable seller. The seller saw the shiny stone and said, "Take one sack of potatoes
and give me the stone."
The man again apologized and said he can't sell it.
Further ahead, he went into a jewelery shop and asked the value of the stone.
The jeweler saw the stone under a lens and said, "I'll give you 50 Lakhs
for this stone." When the man shook his head, the jeweler said, "Alright,
alright, take 2 crores, but give me the stone."
The man explained that he can't sell the stone. Further ahead, the man saw a precious stone's shop and
asked the seller the value of this stone.
When the precious stone's seller saw the big ruby, he lay down a red cloth and put the ruby on it. Then he walked in circles around the ruby and bent down and touched his head in front of the ruby.
"From where did you bring this priceless ruby from?" he asked. "Even if I sell
the whole world, and my life, I won't be able to purchase this priceless stone.
Stunned and confused, the man returned to the God and told him what
had happened. "Now tell me what is the value of life, God?
God said, "The answers you got from the Orange Seller, the
Vegetable Seller, the Jeweler & the Precious Stone's Seller
explain the value of our life..
You may be a precious stone, even priceless, but
people may value you based on their level of information, their belief in you, their motive behind entertaining you, their ambition, and their risk taking ability. But don't fear, you will surely find someone who will discern your true value. I surely do."
In the eyes of God You are very very precious
Respect yourself. You are Unique. No one can Replace you!

Esther

Before they call I will answer. .!!

Isaiah 65:24 :- “Before they call, I will answer.”

This is a testimony written  by a doctor who worked in Africa.

One night I had worked hard to help a mother in the labor ward; but in spite of all we could do, she died, leaving us with a tiny, premature baby and a crying two-year-old daughter. We would have difficulty keeping the baby alive; as we had no incubator (we had no electricity to run an incubator). We also had no special feeding facilities.

Although we lived on the equator, nights were often chilly with treacherous drafts. One student midwife went for the box we had for such babies and the cotton wool that the baby would be wrapped in.

Another went to stoke up the fire and fill a hot water bottle. She came back shortly in distress to tell me that in filling the bottle, it had burst (rubber perishes easily in tropical climates).  “And it is our last hot water  bottle!” she exclaimed. As in the West, it is no good crying over spilled milk, so in Central Africa it might be considered no good crying over burst water bottles.  They do not grow on trees, and there are no drugstores down forest pathways.

“All right,”  I said,  “put the baby as near the fire as you safely can, and sleep between the baby and the door to keep it free from drafts. Your job is to keep the baby warm.”

The following noon, as I did most days, I went to have prayers with any of the orphanage children who chose to gather with me. I gave the youngsters various suggestions of things to pray about and told them about the tiny baby. I explained our problem about keeping the baby warm enough, mentioning the hot water bottle, and that the baby could so easily die if it got chills. I also told them of the two-year-old sister, crying because her mother had died.

During prayer time, one ten -year-old  girl, Ruth, prayed with the usual blunt conciseness of our African children.  “Please, God” she prayed, “Send us a hot water bottle today.  It'll be no good tomorrow, God, as the baby will be dead, so please send it this afternoon.”

While I gasped inwardly at the audacity of the prayer, she added, “And while You are about it, would You please send a dolly for the little girl so she'll know You really love her?”

As often with children's prayers, I was put on the spot. Could I honestly say “Amen?” I just did not believe that God could do this.

Oh, yes, I know that He can do everything; the Bible says so. But there are limits, aren't there? The only way God could answer this particular prayer would be by sending me a parcel from the homeland. I had been in Africa for almost four years at that time, and I had never, ever, received a parcel from home.  Anyway, if anyone did send me a parcel, who would put  in a hot water bottle? I lived on the equator!

Halfway through the afternoon, while I was teaching in the nurses' training school, a message was sent that there was a car at my front door. By the time I reached home, the car had gone, but there on the verandah was a large 22-pound parcel. I felt tears pricking my eyes. I could not open the parcel alone, so I sent for the orphanage children. Together we pulled off the string, carefully undoing each knot. We folded the paper, taking care not to tear it unduly.  Excitement was mounting. Some thirty or forty pairs of eyes were focused on the large cardboard box. From the top, I lifted out brightly-colored, knitted jerseys. Eyes sparkled as I gave them out. Then there were the knitted bandages for the leprosy patients, and the children looked a little bored. Then came a box of mixed raisins and sultanas - that would make a batch of buns for the weekend.

Then, as I put my hand in again, I  felt the.....could it really be?

I grasped it and pulled it out. Yes, a brand new, rubber hot water bottle. I cried.  I had not asked God to send it; I had not truly believed that He could.

Ruth was in the front row of the children. She rushed forward, crying out, “If God has sent the bottle, He must have sent the dolly, too!”

Rummaging down to the bottom of the box, she pulled out the small, beautifully-dressed dolly. Her eyes shone! She had never doubted!  Looking up at me, she asked, “Can I go over with you and give this dolly to that little girl, so she'll know that Jesus really loves her?”

“Of course,” I replied!

That parcel had been on the way for five whole months, packed up by my former Sunday school class, whose leader had heard and obeyed God's prompting to send a hot water bottle, even to the equator.

And one of the girls had put in a dolly for an African child - five months before, in answer to the believing prayer of a ten-year-old to bring it “that afternoon.”

“Before they call, I will answer.” (Isaiah 65:24)

Who is packing your parachute?

Air Commodore Vishal was a Jet Pilot. In a combat mission his fighter plane was destroyed by a missile. He however ejected himself and parachuted safely. He won acclaims and appreciations from many.

After five years one day he was sitting with his wife in a restaurant. A man from another table came to him and said "You're Captain Vishal ! You flew jet fighters. You were shot down!"

"How in the world did you know that?" asked Vishal.
"I packed your parachute," the man smiled and replied. Vishal gasped in surprise and gratitude and thought if parachute hadn't worked, I wouldn’t be here today.Vishal couldn't sleep that night, thinking about that man. He wondered how many times I might have seen him and not even said 'Good morning, how are you?' or anything because, he was a fighter pilot and that person was just a Constable."

So friends, who is packing your parachute?

Everyone has someone who provides what they need to make it through the day.
We need many kinds of parachutes when our plane is shot down – we need the physical parachute, the mental parachute, the emotional parachute, and the spiritual parachute.
We call on all these supports before reaching safety.

Sometimes in the daily challenges that life gives us, we miss what is really important.
We may fail to say hello, please, or thank you, congratulate someone on something wonderful that has happened to them, give a compliment, or just do something nice for no reason.

As you go through this week, this month, this year, recognize the people who pack your parachute.

love,
Esther

WOMAN. . . . . . . . . Worth Reading

When God created woman he was working late on the 6th day.......

An angel came by and asked." Why spend so much time on her ?".

.

The lord answered. " Have you seen all the  specifications I have to meet to shape her?".....

she must function on all kinds of situations....,

she must be able to embrace several kids at the same time,

give a hug that can heal anything from a bruised knee to a broken heart ,

she must do all this with only two hands,.."

She cures herself when sick and can work 18 hours a day".... ...

THE ANGEL was impressed. .." Just two hands.....impossible !" ..

And this is the standard model ? ! ...."

The Angel came closer and touched the woman"......  ..

." But you have made her so soft, Lord".....

." She is soft", said the Lord,

" But I have made her strong. You can't imagine what she can endure and overcome "...

."Can she think?" The Angel asked...

The Lord answered. " Not only can she think, she can reason and negotiate" ...

.

The Angel touched her cheeks.....

" Lord, it seems this creation is leaking !  You have put too many burdens on her. " ...

."She is not leaking...it is a tear" The Lord corrected the Angel...

" What's it for?" Asked the Angel..... .

.

The Lord said. " Tears are her way of expressing her grief, her doubts, her love, her loneliness, her suffering and her pride."...

THIS made a big impression on the Angel,

" Lord, you are genius. You thought of everything.

A  woman is indeed marvellous !".... ...

.

Lord said." Indeed she is.

She has strength that amazes a man.

She can handle trouble and carry heavy burdens.

She holds happiness, love and opinions.

She smiles when she feels like screaming.

She sings when she feels like crying, cries when happy and laughs when afraid.

She fights for what she believes in.

Her love is unconditional.

Her heart is broken when a next-of-kin or a friend dies

but she finds strength to get on with life." ..

The Angel asked : So she is a perfect ?

The lord replied : No. She has just one drawback

" She often forgets what she is worth".

Esther

Humanization-upgrade it!!

A Lady asks: "How much do you sell your eggs for?"The old vendor replies "0.50 ¢ an egg, madam" .The Lady says, I'll take 6 eggs for $2.50 or I'm leaving.  The old salesman replies  Buy them at the price you want, Madam. This is a good start for me because I haven't sold a single egg today and I need this to live.  She bought her eggs at a bargain price and left with the feeling that she had won.  She got into her fancy car and went to a fancy restaurant with her friend.  She and her friend ordered what they wanted. They ate a little and left a lot of what they had asked for.  So they paid the bill, which was $150. The ladies gave $200 and told the fancy restaurant owner to keep the change as a tip...
This story might seem quite normal to the owner of the fancy restaurant, but very unfair to the egg seller...
The question it raises is:
Why do we always need to show that we have power when we buy from the needy?
And why are we generous to those who don't even need our generosity?
I once read this somewhere ,that a father used to buy goods from poor people at high prices, even though he didn't need the things. Sometimes he paid more for them. I was amazed. One day I asked him "why are you doing this dad?" Then my father replied: "It's charity wrapped in dignity, son."

Then this message of attempted "humanisation" will have gone one step further... in the right direction...

PRAISE HIS NAME

This song was written by Jeff and Sheri easter..

When you're up against a wall
And your mountain seems so tall
And you realize that life's not always fair
You can run away and hide
Let the old man decide
Or you can change your circumstances with a prayer

When everything falls apart
Praise his name
When you have a broken heart
Raise your hands and say
Lord, you're all I need
You're everything to me
And he'll take the pain away
When it seems you're all alone
Praise his name
And when you feel you cant go on
Raise your hands and say
Greater is he that is within me
And you can praise the hurt away
If you'll just praise his name

Ohhh,
You can overcome
By the blood of the lamb
And by the word of your testimony
You'll see the darkness go
As your faith begins to grow
You're not alone, so how can you be lonely

When everything falls apart
Praise his name
When you have a broken heart
Raise your hands and say
Lord, you're all I need
You're everything to me
And he'll take the pain away
When it seems you're all alone
Praise his name
And when you feel you cant go on
Raise your hands and say
Greater is he that is within me
And you can praise the hurt away

Greater is he that is within me
And you can praise the hurt away
If you'll just praise his name

Such an encouraging words.. They wrote this song in the time of their tough situation. They tasted a miracle in the name of Jesus got healed by Breast cancer.. Its really a tough to praise him during hardest situation .. But Dont lose your faith at any cost.. Dont stop praise him.. Even in the hardest time also praise him as much u  can like Paul and Sheela in the Jail.. He will never let you down.. He will do miracle in our lives too..

Esther
