How many times do we miss God's blessings because they are not packaged as we expected?

A young man was
getting ready to
graduate from
college. For many
months he had
admired a beautiful
sports car in a
dealers showroom,
and knowing his
father could well
afford it, he told him
that was all he
wanted.
As Graduation Day
approached, the
young man awaited
signs that his
father had purchased
the car. Finally, on
the morning of his
graduation, his father
called him into his
private study, told
him how proud he
was to have such a
fine son, and how
much he loved him.
He handed him a
beautifully wrapped
gift box.
Curious, but
somewhat
disappointed, the
young man opened
the box and
found a lovely,
leather-bound Bible,
with his name
embossed
in gold.
Angrily, he raised his
voice to his father
and said,"With all
your money you give
me a Bible?" He
stormed out of the
house, leaving the
Bible behind.
Many years passed
and the young man
was very successful in
business. He had a
beautiful home and
wonderful family, but
realized his father
was very old. He
thought perhaps he
should go to him.He
had not seen him
since that graduation
day.
But before he could
make arrangements,
he received a
telegram telling him
his father had passed
away, and willed all
of his possessions to
him. He needed to
come home
immediately and take
care of things.
When he arrived at
his father's house,
sadness and regret
filled his heart. He
began to search
through his father's
important documents
and saw the Bible,
new,just as he had
left it years ago.
With tears, he
opened the Bible and
began to turn the
pages. His father had
carefully underlined a
verse, Matt 7:11,
"And if ye, being evil,
know
how to give good
gifts to your children,
how much more shall
your Heavenly Father
which is in Heaven,
give to those who ask
Him?"
As he read those
words, a car key
dropped from the
back of the Bible.It
had a tag with the
dealers name, the
same dealer who had
the sports car he had
desired.
On the tag was the
date of his
graduation, and the
words...
PAID IN FULL.
How many times do
we miss God's
blessings because
they are not
packaged as we
expected?

WITH GOD EVERYTHING IS POSSIBLE

A young man working in the army was constantly humiliated because he believed in God. One day the captain
wanted to humiliate him before the troops. He called the young man and said: – Young man come here, take the key and go and park the Jeep in front. the young man replied: – I cannot drive! The captain said: – Well then ask for assistance of your God! Show us that He exist! The young man takes the key and walked to the vehicle and begins to pray…… …He parks the jeep at the place PERFECTLY well as the captain wanted. The young man came out of the jeep and saw them all crying. They all said together: – We want to serve your God! The young soldier was astonished, and asked what was going on? The CAPTAIN crying opened the hood of the jeep by showing the young man that the car had no engine. Then the boy said: See? This is the God I serve, THE GOD OF IMPOSSIBLE, the God who gives life to what does not exist. You may think there are things still impossible BUT WITH GOD EVERYTHING IS POSSIBLE. To the person reading this, I pray the Lord work A SUPER MIRACLE in your life today In Jesus Name I Pray.. Write 'Amen' to claim this prayer

An inspiring Short story

My mother used to often ask me what the most important part of the body was. Young as I was, I thought sound was very important to us as humans. So l’d say, “My ears, Mommy!"
“No!” she would say. “There are so many people who are deaf! But you keep thinking and I will ask you again soon.” And so it went on until several years passed before she asked me again.
Since making my first attempt, I contemplated the correct answer. Or so I thought I had!
So this time I told her, “Mommy, sight is very important to everybody, so it must be our eyes.”
She looked at me and told me, “You are learning fast, but the answer is not correct because there are many people who are blind.”
Stumped again, I continued my quest for knowledge and after a few years, mother asked me a couple of times more and always her answer was, “No. But you are getting smarter every year, my child!”
Then one, year, my grandfather died. Everybody was upset and everybody was crying.
Even my father wept I remember that especially because that was only the second time in my life that i had ever seen him cry.
My mom looked at me when it was our turn to say our final good-bye to grandpa; she asked me, “Don’t you know the most important body part yet, my dear?” I was shocked when she asked me this now. I always thought this was a game between her and me. She saw the confusion on my face and told me, “This question is very important. It shows that you have really lived in your life. For every body part you gave as the answer in the past, I have told you, was wrong, even giving you the reason why. But today is the day you need to learn this important lesson.”
She looked down at me as only a mother can. I saw her eyes welling up with tears. She said, “My dear, the most important part of the body is your shoulder.”
“is it because it holds up my head?” l asked.
“No,” she replied, “it is because it can hold the head of a friend or a loved one when they cry. Everybody needs a shoulder to cry on sometime in life, my dear. l only hope that you have enough love and friends that you will always have a shoulder to cry on when you need it.”
Then and there I knew that the most important body part is not a selfish one.
It is being sympathetic to the pain of others. People will forget what you said. People will forget what you did. But people will NEVER forget how you made them feel.

We never know the love of our parents for us; till we have become parents

A long time ago, there was a huge apple tree. A little boy loved to come and play around it every day. He climbed to the treetop, ate the apples, and took a nap under the shadow. He loved the tree and the tree loved to play with him.

Time went by, the little boy had grown up and he no longer played around the tree every day.

One day, the boy came back to the tree and he looked sad.

Come and play with me, the tree asked the boy.

Boy: I am no longer a kid, I do not play around trees anymore the boy replied. I want toys. I need money to buy them.

Tree: Sorry, but I do not have money, but you can pick all my apples and sell them. So, you will have money.

The boy was so excited. He grabbed all the apples on the tree and left happily. The boy never came back after he picked the apples. The tree was sad.

One day, the boy who now turned into a man returned and the tree was excited.

Come and play with me the tree said.

I do not have time to play. I have to work for my family. We need a house for shelter. Can you help me?

Sorry, but I do not have any house. But you can chop off my branches to build your house. So the man cut all the branches of the tree and left happily.

The tree was glad to see him happy but the man never came back since then. The tree was again lonely and sad.

One hot summer day, the man returned and the tree was delighted.

Come and play with me! the tree said.

I am getting old. I want to go sailing to relax myself. Can you give me a boat? said the man.

Use my trunk to build your boat. You can sail far away and be happy.

So the man cut the tree trunk to make a boat. He went sailing and never showed up for a long time.

Finally, the man returned after many years.

Sorry, my boy. But I do not have anything for you anymore. No more apples for you the tree said.

No problem, I do not have any teeth to bite the man replied.

Tree : No more trunk for you to climb on.

I am too old for that now the man said.

I really cannot give you anything, the only thing left is my dying roots, the tree said with tears.

I do not need much now, just a place to rest. I am tired after all these years, the man replied.

Good! Old tree roots are the best place to lean on and rest, come sit down with me and rest.  The man sat down and the tree was glad and smiled with tears.

This is a story of everyone. The tree is like our parents. When we were young, we loved to play with our Mum and Dad.

When we grow up, we leave them; only come to them when we need something or when we are in trouble.

No matter what, parents will always be there and give everything they could just to make you happy.

You may think the boy is cruel to the tree, but that is how all of us treat our parents.

We take them for granted; we don't appreciate all they do for us, until it too late.

~ Moral ~
Treat your parents with loving care¦. For you will know their value, when you see their empty chair

We never know the love of our parents for us; till we have become parents

WORDS FROM A FATHER TO A SON ABOUT MARRIAGE

*  My son, if you keep spending on a woman and she never asked you if you’re saving or investing, and she keeps enjoying the attention, don’t marry her.
* My son, a woman could be a
good wife to you, some could be a good mother to your children but if you’ve found a woman like a mother to you, your children and your family, please don’t let her go.
* My son, don’t confine the position of your wife to the kitchen, where did you get that from? Even in our days, we had farm-lands where they worked every morning . . . that was our office.
*  My son, if I tell you that you’re the head of the house, don’t look at your pocket; look if you will see a smile on your wife’s face.
*  My son, if you want to have a long life, let your wife be in- charge of your salary, it will be difficult for her to spend it when she’s aware of the home needs and bills to pay but if it’s in your care, she will keep you asking even when all has been spent.
*  My son, don’t ever beat your woman, the pain in her body is nothing to be compared to the wound on her heart and that means you may be in trouble living with a wounded woman.
*  My son, now that you’re married, if you live a bachelor kind of life with your wife, you will soon be single again.
*  My son, in our days, we had
many wives and many children because of our large farm- lands and many harvests, there are hardly any land for farming anymore, so embrace your woman closely.
* . My son, under the cocoa tree that I did meet your mother could be your eateries and restaurants of nowadays, but remember, the closet thing we did there was to embrace each other.
*  My son, don’t be carried away when you start making more money, instead of
spending on those tiny legs that never knew how hard you worked to get it, spend it on that woman that stood by you all along.
*  My son, remember, when you say your wife has changed, there could be something you’ve stopped doing too.
*  My son, your mother rode the bicycle with me before I bought that tortoise car
outside there, any woman that won’t endure with you in your little beginning should not enjoy your riches.
* . My son, don’t compare your wife to any woman, there are ways she’s enduring you too and has she ever compared you to any man?
*  My son, there is this thing you people call feminism, well, if a woman claim to have equal right with you in the house,
divide all the bills into two equal parts, take one part and ask her to start paying the other part.
*  My son, I didn’t send your sisters to school because I was foolish like many to think a female child won’t extend my
family name, please don’t make that mistake, the kind of female achievers I see nowadays has made the male-gender an ordinary tag.
*. My son, your mother have once locked up the cloth I was wearing and almost tore it because she was angry, I did not raise my hand to beat her because of a day like this, so that I can be proud to tell you that I never for once beat your mother.
*  My son, in our days, our women had more of natural beauty, though I wouldn’t lie to you, some had minor painting of their appellation mostly on their arms, the ones you people now call tattoo, but don’t forget that they didn’t expose any part of their body like your women of nowadays.
*  My son, your mother and I are not interested in what happens in your marriage, try to handle issues without always coming to us.
*  My son, remember I bought your mother’s first sewing machine for her, help your wife achieve her dreams just as you’re pursuing yours.
*. My son, don’t stop taking care of me and your mother, so that your children will take care of you too

Mathematician call Him
"Alpha and Omega"

Engineers call Him

Believers call Him

Jesus is the name above all names

"Hallelujah"

God The Word is always a comfort and the voice of His Spirit is always an encouragement in the hour of greatest trial. The Bible says, The sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that shall be revealed in us (Romans 8:18). When we think about that, it helps us bear some of the things we have to go through  now.

Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning (Psalm 30:5). We need to keep our eyes on Jesus and the end of life road. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory (2 Corinthians 4:17).

God will make the tomorrow is a beautiful place. Well be with Jesus and all our loved ones, and  there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying (Revelation 21:4). He will wipe away our tears, and the former things shall be forgotten in the glories of the ecstasies of the kingdom to  come.

Romans 5:3-5 ESV  More than that, we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.

India needs such mothers-in-law.

😊
😊

A mother writes a heartfelt letter to her son, on why he should not laugh at his wife’s shapeless rotis. A must read.
Dear Son,
Hope this letter finds you in the best of spirits and health.
You might be surprised to find an email from your mom. Something told me to write to you; that you need to hear from me today.
It was indeed one of the best evenings that your father and I spent when you visited us with your new wife yesterday. Rest assured, we liked her immensely. I could see that both of you are very much in love and that makes me happy. May your love grow every moment!
Now let me get to the reason for writing this letter. I don’t know whether you remember, but during dinner, you cracked a joke about the shapeless rotis that Lavanya makes. We all laughed and your father laughed the loudest. There were tears of laughter in your father’s eyes and there were tears in your wife’s eyes too. I can assure you that her tears were not of mirth; they were tears of mortification, of shame brought about by the innocuous joke that you cracked.
I guess that joke was the reason why we heard raised voices coming from your room yesterday night and the reason why Lavanya appeared puffy eyed in the morning. Maybe she cried all night.
Son, I want to tell you something. I love shapeless rotis. They bring back many fond memories. They remind me of the shapeless rotis made by my father on certain Saturday mornings when my mother had extra duty at her office. They often lacked salt, were hard like rock and were shaped like various continents. But his love for us compensated for all that it lacked.
Shapeless rotis also bring memories of those days when your father turned into my cook. It was during those early days of pregnancy while I was carrying you. I couldn’t bear the smell of spices or rice or anything cooking. Your father would churn out shapeless rotis and experimental curries, which tasted quite good because he wanted to provide home cooked food for his wife and unborn child. His care and affection made those rotis priceless.
Do you remember how you used to insist on helping me while I prepared rotis when you were around four years old? You would play with the dough and create various shapes that you wanted to be cooked and served to all. I can tell you, those were the tastiest rotis that I ever ate.
Words can create a world full of love. Yet, a thoughtless word is enough to destroy that world.
Lavanya and you are equally qualified; you both earn equally well too. You have both spent an equal number of years educating yourself to be the professionals that you are. But you expect Lavanya to become the perfect cook and home-maker from the moment you married her! How unreasonable is that?
Rahul, no new wife wants to be ridiculed in front of her in-laws. Trust me, I can tell you that. Been there, done that. She craves to be loved by them and she expects her husband’s support in her effort at endearing herself to them.
Teething troubles in marriages are often capable of draining out the love you have for each other. Be there for her while she adapts herself to your world. A small token of appreciation and open support is all that she will need.
You are my beloved son and I know you have learned to see the brighter side of things. Value love more than any other thing because son, perfectly round rotis are often machine made. They lack the most essential ingredient; Love.
Wishing you a world of love,
Your loving mother.

Superb Attitude

This story is about a person working with a freezer plant.

It was almost the day end. Everyone had packed up to check out.

A technical snag developed in the plant and he went to check.

By the time he finished it was late. The doors were sealed and the lights were off.

Trapped inside the ice plant for the night without air and light, an icy grave was almost sure for him.

Hours passed thus. Suddenly he found someone opening the door.

Was it a miracle?

The security guard entered there with a torch  and helped him to come out.

On the way back the person asked the security guard, How did you know that I was inside? Who informed you? the guard said, No one sir; this unit has about 50 people. But you are the only one who says Hello to me in the morning and Bye in the evening.

You had reported in morning. But did not go out. That made me suspicious

He never knew a small gesture of greeting someone would prove to be a lifesaver for him.
Remember to greet when you meet someone, of course, with a warm smile.

You never know - it may work a miracle in your life too.

Education is not a degree or certificate that can be shown to others as proof. It is our attitude, actions, language and behavior with
others in real life.!

Esther
